With this heat upon us I thought I would pass this along.
I take a capsule sold at OKRunner, and other running stores I'm sure,
that has sodium and potassium in it called E-Cap instead of Gatorade or
Power aide to reduce the calories I take in during the summer. I still
drink sports drinks at times but I've found the capsules a good option
if weight gets to be a problem or for those long runs where you get
tired of the tartness of the sports drink.

I've found that mixing my up my own gatorade works best. I use a little
over half of the serving size, add salt (however much I can stand, the
gatorade usually helps with the taste), and then I eat a banana. It's
proven for me but what works for one person is not always best for all
people...
